Who we are
AiRAT (“we”, “us”) operates this website to describe our engineering and advisory services. Primary contact: [email protected].
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, request a scoping call, or subscribe to the newsletter, we process what you submit — typically your name, work email, company, and the content of your message — in order to reply, to scope the work, or to send the newsletter you asked for.
Enquiries are stored in our own database and forwarded to HubSpot, the CRM we use to manage conversations with prospective clients. If you book a call, HubSpot also records the meeting.
Information collected automatically
If you allow analytics, we record how the site is used: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, how far down articles you read, how long pages stay open, and whether forms are started or submitted. These events are stored on our own infrastructure, and we also send aggregate traffic data to Google Analytics.
Analytics events are tied to a random identifier that lets us recognise a returning reader. That identifier is not linked to your name unless you separately contact us, and it is meaningless outside our own records.
If you allow attribution, we record how you first reached the site — the campaign, advertisement, or referring site — so we can tell which of our work is worth continuing.
Our servers and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, process your IP address, browser, and approximate location to keep the site available and to derive country-level traffic figures. This is necessary to operate the site securely and happens regardless of your analytics choice.
Your choices
Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary runs until you decide. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland we ask before enabling analytics or attribution; elsewhere they are enabled by default and you can switch them off at any time.
You can change or withdraw your choice whenever you like using the Cookie settings link in the site footer. Withdrawing deletes the data those categories stored on your device. Our cookie page lists every cookie and storage key we use, what each is for, and how long it lasts.
Who else processes your data
We use Cloudflare for delivery and protection, Google Analytics for aggregate traffic reporting, and HubSpot for customer relationship management and meeting scheduling. Each acts under its own terms, and analytics and marketing providers only receive data once you have allowed the relevant category.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not run third-party advertising or social retargeting trackers on this site.
International transfers
We are based in India and work with clients across the UAE, India, Singapore, Europe, Australia, and the US, so information you send us may be processed outside your own country. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the transfer mechanisms offered by the providers named above. Where a client requires data to remain in a specific jurisdiction, we design delivery to keep it there.
Retention and security
Enquiries and subscription details are kept for as long as needed to hold the conversation and meet our legal obligations, then removed. Analytics events are retained in identifiable form for no longer than 14 months, after which only aggregates remain.
We apply the same technical and organisational controls to our own systems that we advise clients to apply to theirs, including access control, encryption in transit, and logging.
Your rights
Depending on where you are — including under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 in India — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your data protection authority.
Email [email protected] to exercise any of these. We will respond within the period your law allows, and within 30 days in any case.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
